Riftbound's exclusive Chinese gift box: inside the Ivern, Lillia and Ultrasoft Poro promos

A gift box born exclusively for China — and one that, given the flood of requests, will also get an English release. Riftbound has unveiled a new gift box exclusive to the Chinese market, built around a «secret garden» theme, featuring three promo cards dedicated to Ivern, Lillia and a brand-new Ultrasoft Poro, plus a set of alternate-art tokens. It's the first product clearly tied to the Unleashed expansion to surface like this, and for collectors it's already a small obsession.

The productWhat the «Secret Garden» gift box is

It's a collectible gift box (in Chinese 秘境花园, «secret garden») conceived as a premium product for the Asian market: not just a box of packs, but a carefully designed case, with full-page illustrations, postcards and art prints. The theme is openly botanical and fairy-tale — woods, flowers, little forest creatures — a perfect fit for its star heroes, both nature-bound creatures from the world of League of Legends.

The promosIvern, Lillia and that «Ultrasoft» Poro

The heart of the case is the three promotional cards. Two are Legends — the card that in Riftbound represents the champion you build your deck around — dedicated to Ivern, the Green Father and to Lillia, the fae fawn of dreams. They're two thematically spot-on picks: Ivern has always been the hero of the woods and the brush, and Lillia lives among the forest's flowers. Together they give the case its «enchanted garden» soul.

The tokensEven the markers become art

Beyond the promos, the box includes alternate-art tokens: the marker cards used in play to represent the effects generated by abilities. In the garden-themed set there are three — the Bird token, the Brush token (the brush, a direct nod to Ivern's signature mechanic) and the Gold token. These are details the casual player ignores, but that matter to collectors: having an illustrated, «on-theme» version even of the simple tokens is what turns a playing deck into a display deck.

The photos also offer glimpses of the art prints (one with a green frame, one orange) and the postcards, all built on the same woodland landscape as the lid. It's the same logic behind the deluxe products of the other major TCGs: the value isn't only in the cards, but in the whole opening experience.

It's no surprise that Riftbound debuts a product like this on the Chinese market: China is one of the most important territories for Riot Games, and local TCGs have a long tradition of seasonal gift boxes and presentation cases, often richer than the Western editions. For the international community, the first reaction was a rush to import — at least until Riot confirmed an English version (see the update at the top). UnleashedThe new expansion's first «collectible» taste

The hashtag accompanying the preview — #RBUnleashed — ties the case to the new Unleashed expansion, Riftbound's second big wave after Origins. The three included packs are from this very set, and the fact that the first deluxe product associated with Unleashed is a nature-themed edition suggests Ivern and Lillia will have a starring role in the new card pool.
