Secret Garden: Riot corrects the list, Lucca is the last chance
The Secret Garden bundle calendar Riot published on September 11 had two stops too many. A few hours later, on X, Trick Jarrett — who handles Riftbound communications at Riot — wrote that the European Regional Championship in Stuttgart and Convergence Fest in Las Vegas had ended up on the list by mistake, and that under current plans Lucca Comics & Games will be the last opportunity to buy the box. As we write, the official article has not been updated yet.
The correctionTwo stops fewer, and they were the last two
The article «Secret Garden Bundle Events», published on September 11 on the official site, listed nine dates through December: two already past (PAX West and RQ Singapore), then Los Angeles, Melbourne, Paris, Essen, Lucca, Stuttgart and Las Vegas. The two season-closing events are precisely the ones that were never planned: «Unfortunately the European RC and Convergence Fest were mistakenly included», Jarrett wrote, adding that the article would be corrected shortly.
The wording is careful — under «current plans» Lucca is the last chance — and it should be read alongside the caveat already in the announcement: at the end of 2026 Riot will count the remaining stock and, if there is any, consider bringing the bundle to 2027 events as well. No promises, then, but not a door fully closed either.
The calendarThe stops that actually remain
With Stuttgart (November 6-8) and Convergence Fest (December 11-13) removed, the box's run ends in Tuscany. This is the list updated with Riot's correction.
| Dates | Event |
|---|---|
| September 25-27 | RQ Los Angeles (one box per badge, while stocks last) |
| October 9-11 | PAX Australia (Melbourne) |
| October 22-25 | Paris Games Week (Paris) |
| October 22-25 | Spiel Essen (Essen) |
| October 28 – November 1 | Lucca Comics & Games 2026 (last stop under current plans) |
For anyone living in Italy the picture changes quite a bit. Until yesterday Lucca looked like the second-to-last European stop, with Stuttgart three weeks later as a safety net for whoever came away empty-handed. That net is gone: either you buy the box at the show, or you go through the secondary market.
What is in the box
Three alt art cards (Ivern, Green Father; Lillia, Bashful Bloom; Ultrasoft Poro), five double-sided alt art tokens, two packs of sleeves, two full art postcards and three Unleashed boosters.
What it costs
Riot lists 70 dollars for the English version. The euro price for Lucca and any purchase limits at the show have not been announced yet.
Worth watchingAn official article still to be fixed
The situation is unusual: the official page and Riot's own word say two different things, and for now the reliable one is the second. Anyone planning a November trip to Stuttgart partly for the bundle would do well to wait for the announcement to be updated before booking anything extra. On the same article, incidentally, the PAX Australia date also needs clearing up: the official site says October 9-11.
Why it matters to us. If the correction holds, Lucca Comics & Games becomes the only place in the world to buy Secret Garden at retail after October 25 — and it happens on our doorstep. Two practical consequences: anyone who wants one has to factor in queueing at the hall between October 28 and November 1, with no second attempt in Stuttgart; and the Ivern and Lillia alt arts, which across nine stops would have become common in Europe, will stay rarer than expected. Collectors have one more reason to go in person; anyone buying to resell should not take today's prices for granted.
In short
- Riot corrected the Secret Garden calendar on X: Stuttgart and Convergence Fest had been included by mistake.
- Under current plans Lucca Comics & Games (October 28 - November 1) is the last chance to buy the bundle.
- The official article has not been updated yet; the euro price and purchase limits at Lucca are still to be announced.
