Our first event open to players from all over the world. Teams of two, played online on Rift Atlas, best of three, single elimination: one round a week from 26 October. Entry is free.

Join our Discord
discord.gg/riftboundzone: pick your language in the welcome channel.

Link your account
Both players link Discord to a free riftbound.zone account.

The captain registers the team
In the sign-up channel of the 2v2 section they press “Register your team”, pick their partner and type the team name.

The partner confirms
A ticket opens with both of you: when the partner presses “I confirm” the team is in. Deadline: Sunday 25 October, 23:59 CET.
No partner yet? Look for one in the find-a-partner channel of the 2v2 section.
The format
Teams of 2, one deck each
40 cards, 1 Legend, 3 battlefields and 12 runes per player.
No duplicates between partners
Teammates can't play the same Champion Legend or the same battlefield.
Shared points, first to 11
3 battlefields in play, teams alternate turns. Partners can talk and show each other their hands.
2v2 ban list, Radiance legal
The Standard ban list plus Master Yi, Wuju Bladesman, banned in 2v2 only.
BO3 single elimination
First team to win 2 games takes the match. Losers are out, winners move on.
Online on Rift Atlas
Everyone plays from home: you agree on day and time with the other team.

With more than 32 teams the bracket grows to 64: one extra round, final from 30 November to 6 December. Below 20 teams the tournament does not start. Empty bracket slots become byes.
How a round works

Pairings every Monday
Find out which team you face and get a private Discord channel to arrange the match.

7 days to play
Agree on day and time with the other team. Deadline: Sunday 23:59 CET.

Play on Rift Atlas
Best of three. We recommend that at least one player records the match.

Report the result
The winners report it, the losers confirm it. The bracket updates on its own.
- 5
No-show = out
If a team doesn't reply or show up before the deadline, the other team advances.

Record your match
Not mandatory, but it's your proof if something goes wrong.
Disputes settled within 24 hours
Something wrong? Open a ticket on our Discord with the video: a judge settles it within 24 hours.
One team, one fate
If a player drops or is disqualified, the whole team is out.

Respect your opponents: toxic behaviour can lead to disqualification.
