Faker’s Black Label Galio sells for $90,000

A Galio, Indefatigable carrying Faker’s gold signature, slabbed by Beckett at 10 Pristine with all four subgrades at 10 — the Black Label — sold for $90,000 in the Fanatics Collect weekly auction that closed on the evening of Sunday, September 27. The lot drew 36 bids, and according to the collector who posted the listing on r/riftboundtcg it climbed another $15,000 in the closing minutes of extended bidding. It is the first completed sale price we have on a Riftbound Black Label.

The lotNinety thousand, buyer’s premium included

The card was lot 26576F1 in Fanatics Collect’s 245th Weekly Sunday Auction, catalogued as 2026 Riftbound League Legends LoL Gold Signature Galio Indefatigable /2025 BGS 10 Black Label. The listing says the item was flash inserted on September 21 and was due to close on the evening of Sunday the 27th, with extended bidding — the overtime that restarts every time a bid lands in the last seconds — opening at 7:00 PM Pacific.

The $90,000 figure on the page is marked as including the buyer’s premium, the commission the auction house adds on top of the hammer price, so the seller banked meaningfully less than that. The card itself was in the platform’s custody: the listing describes it as vaulted and expert-handled.

The Beckett label spells out the whole chain: 2026 Riftbound Promos — League of Legends — #003 Galio, Indefatigable — Gold Signature Serial, certificate 0021055605. It comes from the T1 2025 Worlds Champion Signature Edition, the $360 box Riot distributed by drawing in August in 10,125 copies per language across English, Chinese and Korean.

Games Time Pavia — official sponsor

Each box holds the five cards picked by the T1 players, and exactly one of the five — at random — is serialised from 1 to 2025 and carries the player’s signature printed in gold. That puts 2,025 signed and numbered Galios in circulation per language, 6,075 in total. Galio is a three-cost Champion Unit with Deflect and Tank that deals no combat damage, and it is the card Faker chose for himself.

The catchThe serial number is not readable

Neither the lot title nor the label shows a legible serial number in the screenshot. So we cannot say whether this is the copy we wrote about on September 13: the English 0603/2025, the first Faker Galio to come back at 10 Pristine and, at the time, the only one at that grade in the population reports. Two weeks ago that copy was described as not for sale — but two weeks is a long time, and other Black Labels may have come out of Beckett since. Until the serial is readable, this is the sale of a Black Label, not necessarily of that Black Label.

For scale, compare it with the month’s other headline lot, the Chinese auction of the 0001 Galio: the leading bid at close there was 1,653,000 yuan, roughly $247,000, but on an ungraded card and on a platform that never confirmed the transaction went through. Here the result is on the record of an auction house that handles the payment.

Why it matters here. Only a handful of Signature Edition boxes reached Italy through August’s drawing, but they did arrive, and until yesterday anyone holding a graded copy had no completed sale to price against — only eBay asks. Now there is a benchmark, and it is a high one. If you have a T1 serialised card at home, the choice between leaving it in a sleeve and sending it to grade is no longer theoretical: it runs through a surface subgrade, and a single fingerprint costs you that grade.

The short version

  • A Faker Galio in a Beckett Black Label slab sold for $90,000, buyer’s premium included, on September 27 at Fanatics Collect.
  • The lot closed on 36 bids; according to the user who shared the screenshot, the last $15,000 came in extended bidding.
  • The serial number is not legible, so we do not know whether this is 0603/2025, the first copy to reach 10 Pristine.
