Faker’s Galio 0001 closes at 1,653,000 yuan

Galio, Indefatigable serialised copy carrying Faker's gold signature

The Chinese auction for the Galio, Indefatigable numbered 0001/2025 with Faker’s gold signature ended on Sunday 20 September at 11pm China time, 5pm in Italy. The lot screenshot posted to r/riftboundtcg moments after the close puts the top bid at 1,653,000 yuan, roughly $247,000: four hundred thousand yuan above the figure on the board a day earlier. That is the leading bid when the clock stopped, not a sale confirmed by the platform.

The last dayFrom 1.22 to 1.65 million in a single day

On Saturday, when we first covered the lot, the top bidder was a user listed as OKKARD at 1,221,111 yuan. The closing screenshot shows the same name — written OK·KARD, tagged 香港啟德, Kai Tak in Hong Kong — back in first place, this time at 1,653,000 yuan. That is 431,889 yuan more in twenty-four hours, just under 35 per cent.

The rows underneath explain how it got there: 1,652,750, then 1,652,500, then 1,652,250 and 1,652,000 yuan, each marked 出局, “out”. Four consecutive bids separated by 250 yuan, the platform’s minimum increment: a little over thirty euros a step on a seven-figure number. The whole endgame was fought inside 0.06 per cent of the price.

The cardOne single 0001 per language

The lot is catalogued as 符文战场 2026 简中 T1S·003*/005·SC Promo(签名): the signed promotional Galio, Indefatigable from the T1 series in Simplified Chinese. It comes from the T1 2025 Worlds Champion Signature Edition, the $360 box Riot distributed in August through a drawing, 10,125 copies per language across English, Chinese and Korean. Each box holds the five cards picked by the T1 players; exactly one of the five, at random, is serialised from 1 to 2025 and carries the signature printed in gold.

Games Time Pavia — official sponsor

So there are 2,025 signed and numbered Galios per language, but only one number 0001 per language, and this is the Simplified Chinese one. The card is neither slabbed nor graded: the listing classified it as 流通品相, circulated condition.

CautionWhat the screenshot does not say

The screenshot shows the highest bid and an expired timer, not a payment that went through. On Chinese trading platforms time passes between the hammer and the handover, and it is not unusual for a lot to reappear. For now the number travels on a single public source, the r/riftboundtcg thread: neither the seller nor the platform has published a confirmation. And it bears repeating that Riot has nothing to do with these auctions — they are private sales on a third-party service.

Why it matters for us. The English Signature Editions circulate in Europe, and there too only one 0001 exists for each T1 player. A number like this one, real or inflated, becomes the anchor that sellers in Italy use to price their own low-numbered copies. Over the coming weeks the figures worth watching are completed sales on eBay and Cardmarket, not the asking prices sitting in shop windows.
