Riftbound Tournaments in Rome: the Saturday Nexus at Dark Zone
There's a new fixture for anyone playing Riftbound in Rome: every Saturday morning the store Dark Zone, in the Tuscolano district, hosts a Nexus, Riftbound's official weekly organised-play tournament. It's a 1v1 event open to everyone — from veterans to first-timers — with prizes for the best players and, new for this edition, an Origins box up for grabs. Here's everything you need to know to take part.
When & whereEvery Saturday on Via Statilio Ottato, in Rome
Dark Zone is located at Via Statilio Ottato 66/A, 00175 Rome, in the Don Bosco–Tuscolano area, easy to reach on metro line A at the Subaugusta stop. You can also find the store on Google Maps. It's a weekly appointment: doors open at 10:30 and the tournament starts at 11:00. The next date is Saturday 27 June 2026, but the Nexus returns every weekend, so if you miss one week there's always another.
The format1v1 Constructed with a Swiss phase
It's played 1v1 with Constructed decks: bring your list and face the other players in a Swiss phase, the scoring system that pairs you against opponents with a similar record round after round. It's the same competitive backbone as the bigger events, in a friendly local form — ideal for practising ahead of official tournaments. To come prepared, check our competitive meta Tier List and build or refine your list in the Deck Builder.
On the linePrizes: entry into the pool, promo packs and an Origins box
The entry fee is €10 and goes entirely into the prize pool for the top finishers: the more players show up, the bigger the pool. On top of that there's a participation prize for everyone — 2 Spiritforged & Unleashed promo packs, while stocks last. The real highlight, though, is the return of the "Win a Box" format: in this second edition the top finishers take home an Origins box, Riftbound's base set. One more reason to give it everything from your first match.
