Riftbound tournaments: online and in person, every week
Riftbound Zone runs Riftbound TCG tournaments open to everyone: free Zone Weekly events every week, the monthly Monthly Zone. Play happens online on our Discord server with a Swiss + top cut format, automatic pairings and seasonal leaderboards.

How do I join a Riftbound tournament?
Create a free Riftbound Zone account, link Discord and hit «Join» on the tournament you want: your seat is reserved right away and you only pay afterwards, if the event has an entry fee. Full guide: how to join.
Are Riftbound Zone tournaments free?
Zone Weekly events (every Sunday) and the Monthly Zone are free: the prizes are two booster boxes a month offered by our official partner Games Time Pavia, one split every week among the Weekly podium (3 / 2 / 1 / 1) and one for the Monthly top 8, plus leaderboard points.
How do online tournaments work?
Online tournament matches are played on Rift Atlas, the online play platform: each round the pairings are posted automatically, you join your table's voice channel on the official Discord (mandatory, even just listening), agree with your opponent and play the series on Rift Atlas. What format do tournaments use?
Swiss with MTG-style tiebreakers and a single-elimination BO3 top cut. Timed rounds, in-chat result confirmation and deck lists locked when the tournament starts.
Which cards are banned in tournaments?
Riot's official ban list applies to all our tournaments: in Standard 7 cards and 5 battlefields are banned, in 2v2 Master Yi as well. Last update on 18 September 2026 with Ekko, Recurrent and Stacked Deck. The deck builder flags banned cards while you build your list; the full list with its history is in the Riftbound ban list.
