I am Valentina, an Italian illustrator and graphic designer: hand-painted card alters and original digital illustrations.

How I work

Through my Riftbound work, I reinterpret cards through artwork extensions, alternative character designs and unique collectible pieces created for the game’s community.

Each card alter is individually hand-painted on authentic trading cards using professional acrylic paints. My work ranges from seamless artwork extensions to complete artistic reinterpretations. Every piece is created to celebrate the universe of Runeterra while offering players and collectors a unique, one-of-a-kind collectible.

I can also make a card truly yours, adding the elements you ask for and creating crossovers with other worlds and characters. I also hand-paint deck boxes and binders. And I do not stop at cards: my portfolio has illustrations of every kind, because I like to range widely.

Lucca 2026: official artist of the Showdown Series

In September 2026 I had the opportunity to take part in the Riftbound Showdown Series in Lucca as an official artist and guest, with PG Esports. I painted live during the event, creating custom card alters and commissions for players and collectors while sharing the creative process directly with the community.

It was a wonderful opportunity to meet players, talk about their favourite champions and turn their cards into unique, hand-painted pieces. The incredibly positive response from the community encouraged me to keep developing this kind of art-focused content for Riftbound events.

The Lulu token

For the Lucca Showdown Series 2026, I created an original Lulu illustration specifically for the event and turned it into a custom Riftbound token, printed as a collectible piece for players and the community.

The Lulu token was born digitally, and I sent it to print myself. That is the other half of my work: digitally I can make custom tokens in multiple copies, a hundred or so is no problem, or playmats printed with an illustration of your own.

What I can do for you

By hand: alters on real cards, deck boxes and binders, in professional acrylics. Every piece exists in a single copy.

Digitally: custom tokens, in runs of a hundred copies too, playmats and original illustrations, on and off the cards.

On request: personalised cards with the elements you want and crossovers with other worlds.
