Monday Nexus Nights in Rome: Riftbound at Dragon Legend
Organised Riftbound play in Rome just doubled: on top of the Saturday Nexus at Dark Zone, every Monday evening there's a Nexus Nights 1v1 at Dragon Legend, a comic shop–pub–game room in the Torpignattara district. A weekly tournament on the official circuit, open to everyone — from veterans to first-timers — with one extra ingredient: you play at the tables of a proper pub, craft beer in hand.

Dragon Legend is located at Via Acca Larenzia 32 (corner of Via Evandro 8), 00181 Rome, in the Torpignattara district just off Via Casilina. You can also find the store on Google Maps. It's a weekly fixture, on Monday evenings: play starts around 8:30 PM (the official locator shows the exact time for each edition) and the night usually wraps up by 11:40 PM. The next date is Monday 17 August 2026, but the Nexus Night comes back every week: miss one and you're back in the game the following Monday.
The format1v1 Constructed with a Swiss phase
It's played 1v1 with Constructed decks, in the official Nexus Nights – 1v1 category: bring your list and face the other players in a Swiss phase, the scoring system that pairs you against opponents with a similar record round after round. It's the same competitive structure as the big tournaments, in a local, friendly version: ideal practice for official events. The latest Nexus Night saw 7 players battle across three Swiss rounds. The win went to Not Zcai, who finished 2-0-1 after taking the decisive round-three match and edging out ValeG Thats IT — tied on points at the top — on tiebreakers; DonCapucino and Papillon02 followed close behind. A cosy-sized field where you play a lot and wait very little: the ideal setting for grinding real games.

Dragon Legend isn't your typical card shop: it's a ludo-pub, as its crest proudly says. On one side the comic shop, with aisles of manga, American comics and action figures; on the other the pub, with craft beers on tap, cider and a kitchen turning out themed burgers and fried bites; in between, the game room, with shelves of board games, the TCGs of the moment and tabletop RPG nights run by the house "Guild". The venue's motto says it all: "Come have fun among countless games while enjoying great beer!".
And between rounds nobody goes hungry: the pub side serves craft beers (plus the house cider in summer), burgers and fried bites — including the Warblade, a blue-bun burger — beef patty, bacon, potato rösti, mozzarella and hot chicken — that's become a little classic of the venue.
