Riven, The Exile: Radiance Legend leaks on Reddit
Riven’s Radiance Legend went online before Riot showed it. It is called The Exile, it carries the number RAD 149/167 and its identity is Calm and Chaos. Its only line of text says that units you play to battlefields you already control enter ready, meaning they can move and act straight away instead of sitting still until your next turn. The screenshot comes from a single r/riftboundtcg user and Riot has confirmed nothing.
The factsWhat the screenshot actually shows
Late on September 29, user u/kayos90 posted on r/riftboundtcg a photo of a screen with three Legend cards stacked on top of each other. The middle one is Riven’s. On the card you can read the LEGEND tag with the name RIVEN, the title The Exile, the two identity circles in the top left corner — the green leaf of Calm and the purple spiral of Chaos — and along the bottom the line RAD · 149/167 · EN, signed by Grafit Studio with Riot Games’ 2026 copyright. The rules text is a single line: “Units you play to battlefields you control enter ready.”
More than one reader in the thread asked where the image came from and got no answer: that is the limit of this story, and we are saying it plainly.
The rule“Entering ready” is normally something you pay for
In Riftbound a unit that arrives on the table comes in exhausted: you put it down turned sideways and it stays put until it readies, usually at the start of your next turn. The game already has a way to skip that wait, the Accelerate keyword, and the printed reminder text says what it costs: “you may pay 1 energy and a rune as an additional cost to have me enter ready.” It is a surcharge, and it only works on units that carry the keyword.
Riven, if the screenshot is genuine, hands it over for free: no extra energy, no keyword needed, on every unit and every turn, as long as the battlefield is already yours. Until now the same effect had a price tag: Confront is a 2-energy spell that lasts a single turn, while Magma Wurm grants it permanently but costs 8 and is a unit the table can remove.

The cross-checkYesterday’s signature weapon now has an owner
On September 28 we covered a signature gear tied to Riven, RAD 150/167, costing 3 energy plus a hybrid Calm-or-Chaos rune. That card is where the community’s deduction that Riven had a Legend came from, and we wrote at the time that a Calm/Chaos identity was “the simplest hypothesis, not a confirmation”. Today’s screenshot says exactly that, and puts the Legend at number 149, the slot right before the weapon.
The same photo shows two other Legends that have already come out through official channels, Orianna, Lady of Clockwork at RAD 145/167 and K’Sante, Pride of Nazumah at RAD 147/167. Odd numbers, two apart: it looks like every Legend carries its own signature gear in the following slot, 146, 148 and 150. That is our arithmetic, not a line from Riot.

Why it matters for us. In Italy Riven is already played, but only as a Vendetta Champion unit (Riven, Shattered): without a Legend of her own she has never had a deck built around her. If The Exile is real, from Radiance onwards she becomes a Calm/Chaos headliner. One warning, though: until the card comes out of a Riot channel it is not something to spend money on, and anyone buying singles right now is doing it on the strength of a screenshot with no stated source. Radiance is out on October 23 and will be the set the next season of Regional Qualifiers runs on.
