Riftbound 2027 Sets: Radiance, Legacy, The Reckoning & Bandle City
Every announced Riftbound set: Radiance on October 23 with the Ultimate rarity, Legacy in January with redesigned boosters, The Reckoning, Bandle City and bundles.
Here is the first look at the two Champion Decks for The Reckoning, Riftbound’s seventh set, releasing on April 30, 2027. The images were posted this morning by Riftbound Report, a community news account: Vayne plays Chaos and Order, Shyvana plays Fury and Body. Riot has not published these images through its own channels yet, so treat the domains as unconfirmed for now.

The image shows both deck boxes under The Reckoning logo. Vayne’s box carries the purple and yellow symbols, Chaos and Order; Shyvana’s carries red and orange, Fury and Body. Next to each box sits a Reckoning booster with the same champion art, labelled “14-card booster”. The image doesn’t make clear whether that pack comes inside the deck or is simply a preview of the booster art; we’ll know when Riot says so.
We already knew from Riot’s official roadmap in August that the set’s Champion Decks would be Vayne and Shyvana (see our 2027 set calendar). What’s new today are the domains and the packaging.
Chaos (purple) and Order (yellow). The Night Hunter gets a ready-to-play deck.
Fury (red) and Body (orange). Demacia’s half-dragon gets one too.
Every Riftbound card belongs to one of six domains, the game’s colours. Your deck is built around a Legend, which has two of them, and you can only play cards from those two domains. Knowing that Vayne is Chaos/Order tells you which card pool her deck will draw from.
| Term | What it means |
|---|---|
| Domain | A card’s “colour”. There are six: Fury, Calm, Mind, Body, Chaos, Order. |
| Legend | The card that leads your deck and sets its two domains. |
| Champion Deck | A preconstructed deck built around one champion, playable straight out of the box. |
Champion Decks are the easiest way in: open the box and play, no boosters or singles needed. Origins had Jinx, Viktor and Lee Sin; Legacy, in January, is expected to bring Tryndamere, Ashe, Lux and Garen. The Reckoning goes down to two.
According to Riot’s August roadmap, The Reckoning is set 7: 264 cards, 67 of them Showcase, themed around League of Legends’ “giants”, releasing April 30, 2027, three months after Legacy. Deck prices, card lists and Legends have not been revealed yet.
Why it matters for us. For new players, or anyone introducing a friend to the game, Champion Decks are the most sensible purchase, and knowing the domains this early helps you decide which Radiance and Legacy cards are worth holding on to. Before making plans, though, we’re waiting for Riot to confirm.
