Riftlab, the match library for Riftbound Regional Qualifiers

Riftlab holds 163 Regional Qualifier matches — but Bologna is empty

Just after midnight Italian time, r/riftboundtcg user u/atroooix introduced Riftlab: a site that gathers in one place the filmed matches from the Regional Qualifiers, the official stops on the Riftbound competitive circuit. It holds 163 matches across 7 events, 228 players and 44 different Legends, and every link opens at the exact second the game starts. The site lists 12 events, though: five still have no video at all, and one of them is RQ Bologna, the only Italian stop. The library is free and asks for no account.

The numbersSeven events filled in, five still at zero

A Regional Qualifier (RQ for short) is one of the large official tournaments Riot runs around the world: thousands of entrants, a full day of play, and the key matches filmed and posted on YouTube. Until now the hard part was finding them again: the footage sits inside eight- or ten-hour broadcasts, and watching a single game meant knowing which minute to scrub to.

That is exactly what Riftlab fixes. Every match is one row with both players, the two Legends they brought and the round; the link drops you on the video already cued to the start. The 163 matches on file cover seven events and two different formats: three were played with Vendetta and four with Unleashed.

How it worksThe filters, and the switch that saves the game for you

The handiest part is spoiler mode, which is on the moment you open the site: it keeps the results of the knockout games covered, so you can scroll the list without learning who won before you watch. One click turns it off when the result is all you wanted.

Then there are two dropdowns that work as a pair: pick a Legend on the left and one on the right and you get only the matches where those two met — useful when you are prepping a specific matchup. A search box finds players, events and rounds. The Surprise me button pulls a random game, and any event can be started from round one and watched straight through, like a broadcast. The site also remembers where you left off.

Spoiler mode

What it hides

With the switch on, the knockout matches stay covered: you can see they exist, not who won them. You uncover them one at a time, when you choose to.

Top cut

What it means

The closing, knockout part of a tournament: quarter-finals, semi-finals and final. Before that come the points rounds, where nobody is eliminated right away. The library has 32 of those out of 163.

What is missingThe backlog, the decklists and one caveat

The five empty events are the oldest ones: Atlanta (April 25), Lille (April 18), Las Vegas (February 28), Bologna (February 21) and Houston (December 6, 2025). The author writes that he intends to fill the backlog and add new events as they are played. One tempting piece is almost entirely absent too: the decklists, the card-by-card contents of the two decks. Right now they are attached to 5 matches out of 163.

One caveat about the label. In his post the author calls the project “totally free non-profit”, and the library genuinely is free and account-free. The top bar, however, also carries a Shop entry and a Coaching entry pointing to paid external services, so the site is not only an archive. At the foot of the page Riftlab states it is an independent fan site, not affiliated with Riot Games: the videos are still the official ones on YouTube, only sorted here.

Why it matters to us. In Riftlab's own list, RQ Bologna of February 21, 2026 stands as the biggest Italian stop on the circuit with 1,719 entrants — and it is one of the rows sitting at zero matches. For players in Italy the library is already very useful on recent Europe: Barcelona and Utrecht alone account for 53 matches, played in the meta we saw at our own tables. The home stop, for now, cannot be rewatched. If anyone saved the Bologna footage, this is the moment to flag it: that backlog is exactly what the author is collecting.

The short version

  • Riftlab collects 163 matches from the official Regional Qualifiers, each link cued to the right second: 7 of the 12 events are already complete.
  • Legend-versus-Legend filters, a player search and spoiler mode on by default, so results do not get spoiled.
  • RQ Bologna, the only Italian stop, is listed but has no video; decklists are attached to just 5 matches.
  • It is a fan site, free and account-free, not affiliated with Riot Games.
