Vendetta Booster Display: the drawing emails are out
Riot started sending the second Vendetta Booster Display drawing emails on Monday, September 14, right on the schedule it had published. Anyone selected gets a purchase link that stays alive for 24 hours; once it expires, the slot goes back into the pool. The display is priced at €127.99 / $119.99 plus shipping. The first proof came from the community: on r/riftboundtcg, u/KarmalessHuman posted a screenshot of the message hours after the first wave went out.
The proofWhat the email actually says
The wording is blunt: «Congratulations! You have been selected to purchase the following product from the Riftbound drawing», followed by the product name — Riftbound: League of Legends TCG Vendetta Booster Display — and the line that matters, the one explaining that the purchase link only works for 24 hours. There is no code to redeem and nothing to confirm elsewhere: you click, you pay, that is the whole process.
Riot had set the selection to begin on September 14 at roughly 9:00 AM Pacific Time and said the emails would go out in waves. That is exactly how it is playing out: the thread has players who got their message immediately next to others who still had an empty inbox at the same hour.

The wavesAn empty inbox today is not a no
The comments read like a textbook random draw. One player says their entire friend group got in; u/DemandTTV is the only one out of ten friends holding an invite; several others report signing up and hearing nothing at all. These are impressions collected over a few hours, not statistics — Riot does not publish how many people are selected, or how many entries came in.
The official Vendetta 2.0 Drawing FAQ does contain something useful for everyone staring at an empty inbox, though: if a selected player passes or lets the 24 hours run out, someone new is drawn and notified in their place. Unused slots go back into circulation and generate fresh invites over the following days. It is worth watching your inbox — spam folder included — past today, and Riot asks players to make sure riotgames.com messages are not being filtered out.
24 packs, 14 cards each
The Vendetta Booster Display pulls from a pool of over 160 cards with more than 50 Showcase cards. One display per selected player.
24 hours from the email
The clock starts when the message is sent, not when you open it. Once it runs out the link is dead and does not come back.
| Step | When | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Emails go out | From September 14, in waves | Check your inbox and spam for riotgames.com |
| Purchase | Within 24 hours of your email | Complete checkout from the link: €127.99 plus shipping |
| Unused slots | Over the following days | Redrawn and reassigned: non-winners are still in |
| Shipping | 1-3 business days after the order | Nothing to do, it leaves the Riot warehouse |
Why it matters here. Europe is included in this drawing, and it is one of the few ways to get a sealed display at list price without going through the secondary market. It is also unforgiving: the 24 hours start the moment the email lands, so anyone who entered and is spending the week at locals or a tournament should keep notifications on. And if nothing arrived today, this is not the moment to panic-buy elsewhere — declined slots go straight back into the draw.
The short version
- Riot began sending the second Vendetta Booster Display drawing emails in waves on September 14.
- Selected players have 24 hours to complete the purchase at €127.99 plus shipping; after that the link dies and the slot moves on.
- Players who got nothing are still eligible: unused slots are redrawn over the following days.
