Yunara on Reddit: fan art, not a Radiance preview
A thread titled “Yunara riftbound spoiler” went up on r/riftboundtcg on Saturday 20 September, and there is no preview anywhere in it: what it shows is a commissioned illustration posted by u/NaylisArt, who writes that they are waiting for the champion to arrive in Riftbound and asks the community which domains would suit her. Yunara is not among the 1,567 cards catalogued in the Riftbound Zone database and no official Riot channel has announced her for the card game. The real Radiance previews started on September 25 at the Los Angeles Regional Qualifier, and a week on she is not among the cards shown.
The threadOne drawing, one question, no data
The post by u/NaylisArt, online since 8:12pm UK time on Saturday 20 September, is a single image and one line of text: the author presents it as a “commission” — paid work by an illustrator — of a Yunara “waiting for her to come out in riftbound”, and closes by asking which domains would fit her. No card back, no catalogue screenshot, no source cited: the thread carries nothing verifiable beyond the drawing itself. It stopped there, with a single comment praising the artwork.
The word “spoiler” in the title was enough to make it travel, which is also why it landed in our daily checks. You will see more like it over the coming weeks, because the preview calendar has just hit its stride and anticipation does the rest.

The checkYunara is not a card (yet)
We ran the name against the archive behind the Riftbound Zone pages: 1,567 cards in total across the four main sets — Origins, Spiritforged, Unleashed and Vendetta — plus the whole promotional pool, from Nexus Night Promos to the T1 collection. None of them belongs to Yunara. The real previews have not produced her either: since the cards started landing on September 25 — K’Sante, Orianna, Ziggs, Evelynn, Ahri, Heimerdinger — Yunara has not appeared, and on playriftbound.com the champion is never mentioned.
None of which means she will never arrive. It means that, as of today, anyone treating her as confirmed is doing so with nothing to lean on.
Zero cards
No Yunara among the 1,567 cards catalogued on Riftbound Zone before Radiance, promos included.
No announcement
Riot has never named her, and she is not among the cards shown in the first week of Radiance previews.
Why it matters for us. Since September 25 players in Italy have been living through weeks of daily previews, handed out to dozens of creators and outlets spread across China, Europe and the United States. This is exactly the stretch when fan drawings and fakes travel furthest, shared in group chats under a title that says “spoiler” with nobody opening the image. Knowing where to look — the official Card Gallery and the #RBRadiance hashtag — saves a month of pointless argument, and lets you enjoy a good drawing for what it is.
How to checkWhere the real previews land
Riot published the full calendar on September 18. It opened on the 25th with the Los Angeles Regional Qualifier and the official overview article, then from September 28 the cards go out daily to different groups of creators, cosplayers and gaming outlets, with a sizeable share of Chinese channels. If you would rather not chase them one by one there are two tools: the official Card Gallery, updated every day at 5pm Pacific — 2am in Italy — with the previous day’s reveals, and the #RBRadiance hashtag, which Riot points to as the way to catch every announcement.
| Date | Where |
|---|---|
| September 18 | First previews on the LCS and LEC broadcasts, ahead of the official start |
| September 25 | Los Angeles Regional Qualifier and official overview article (done) |
| September 28 | Daily distribution to creators and outlets worldwide begins |
| October 1 and 2 | The listed names include Giorgia Falci and Riftbound Report |
