K/DA Couture drawing is live, and Riot ships to Italy

The Riftbound x K/DA: Couture Collection bundle with cards, playmat and accessories

NewsMarketby Riccardo Emanuele Eustor · Riftbound Zone

Registration for the Riftbound x K/DA: Couture Collection drawing opened on Tuesday afternoon and closes on Friday, October 30. When we covered the bundle on October 21 one question was still hanging: is Italy among the countries served? It is — yes. Riot has put the registration page up in Italian as well, and its merch store ships to Italy out of the Netherlands. The bundle costs $150 plus shipping, selected players are emailed from November 3, and whoever is drawn has 24 hours to pay.

What's newItaly is on the shipping list

The FAQ Riot published on October 21 never said which countries could take part, and that was the one good reason to wait before signing up. Two things settle it now. First, the registration page exists in Italian, alongside German, French, Spanish, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. Second, and more solid: that page links to the shipping terms of the Riot Games Store, where Italy sits in the European list with an estimated 4-7 business days from dispatch, shipped from the Netherlands.

A word on cost, because there are two bills here. The $150 is the bundle; shipping is added at checkout and Riot publishes no rate card for it, since it depends on weight and address. The same page does spell out a rule worth knowing: preorders always ship on their own and are never bundled with the rest of a cart, and in Riot's own worked examples a single preorder shipment runs 10 EUR. Those are stated as examples, not a guaranteed price.

CarefulTwo official pages, two closing times

This needs to be precise, because missing a deadline by an hour is expensive. The English page says registration closes on October 30 at 9:00 AM PST; the Italian page converts that to 6:00 PM CET. The conversion would be right in January, but not on October 30: the United States does not go back to standard time until November 1, so in those days the West Coast is still an hour ahead and 9:00 AM there is 5:00 PM in Italy, not 6:00.

Until Riot corrects one of the two pages, the only sensible move is to take the tighter time and register before 5:00 PM CET on Friday. There is no cost to doing it early: signing up is free, it is not a preorder, and it commits you to nothing.

How it worksSigning up, and what is going wrong

You open the drawing page, sign in with your Riot account — the same one you use for League of Legends — clear the anti-bot check and tick the bundle. That is it: nothing is paid and nothing is reserved. If your name comes out, you get an email with a link to a cart that is already filled, good for 24 hours; if the link expires, the slot goes back into stock and someone else is drawn from the players who have not been picked yet.

In the first hours, though, r/riftboundtcg filled with reports of a sign-in loop: user u/Freifur describes four hours of trying, bounced back to the login screen every time without ever reaching the form. Riot has not commented. Teething trouble is normal when these windows open, but with only three days on the clock it is one more reason not to leave it to Friday afternoon. Riot's own FAQ advice stands too: check beforehand that you can still get into your account, and that riotgames.com emails are not landing in spam.

The boxWhat the winners actually get

Inside are four Legends with brand-new art by Fortiche, the studio behind Arcane — Agony's Embrace (Evelynn), Nine-Tailed Fox (Ahri), Rogue Assassin (Akali), Daughter of the Void (Kai'Sa) — plus the Packed Amphitheater Battlefield, a limited-edition playmat and deck box, 75 sleeves, four metal D12 dice and the FIRESTARTER KiT keychain. The point we flagged on October 21 is still open: Riot calls them “collectible cards” and does not say whether they are tournament legal. Full breakdown in our article on the price and contents.

Why it matters for us. Last week we told Italian players to open the page and check for themselves whether we were on the list. We have now checked, and the answer is yes. That is not a given: Riot product drawings have often been North America only, and this time the European store ships from Amsterdam on ordinary timelines. The only thing that can still cost you the chance is the clock — a three-day window, an hour of disagreement between two official pages, and a sign-in that did not work for everyone on day one.
