Radiance promos: 24 Nexus Night cards, Lulu is the chase
Along with the Showdown Deck lists, Riot has published what promos you'll find in stores with Radiance. The Nexus Night packs are refreshed with 24 cards from the set and carry Lulu, Whimsical as their chase card; at the Pre-Rift events, running October 16 to 22, you pick up Heimerdinger, Academy Instructor while supplies last. There are also six new promo Runes and dates for the two Summoner Skirmishes: November 9 and December 14.
This weekThe Pre-Rift promo is Heimerdinger
This is the one with a deadline attached: Pre-Rift events run from today through October 22, and anyone who signs up gets Heimerdinger, Academy Instructor (RAD 132/167) while stock lasts. He's a champion unit at 6 energy and 5 Might in Order, tagged Piltover and Yordle: while he sits at a battlefield, unit tokens you would play there become 3 Might Mechs instead.
He isn't a display-case card either: he's one of the 40 in the Seraphine Showdown Deck, which makes plenty of tokens. We covered the kit and how the week works here.

Nexus NightThe pool changes: 24 Radiance cards
Nexus Nights are the official evenings Riot runs through affiliated stores: you play, you get a promo pack. With the set's launch the contents of that pack change, and now we know what's inside. Twenty-four cards.
Banner of Conquest · War Scout · Shimmering Swimmer · Firebrand Raider · Iridescent Avian · Life from Stone
Watchful Curator · Hush · High Note · Trinket Peddler · Clanging Sentry · Spirit of the Forge
Hold'Em · Sneaky Zeebles · Stalwart Shepherd · Portable Portal · Explosimian · Satchel Charge
Reckless Innovator · Bedeviling Stranger · Hunting Dog · Party Crasher · Rousing Display · Battlefield Armorer
One thing jumps out when you set this list beside the ones published today: seven of these twenty-four cards are already in the two Showdown Decks. High Note, Hunting Dog, Party Crasher and Rousing Display are in Seraphine's; Hold'Em, Sneaky Zeebles and Reckless Innovator in Evelynn's. Anyone playing the preconstructed decks will be picking up promo versions of cards they already run.
The chaseLulu, Whimsical
The rare card in the pack is Lulu, Whimsical, RAD 110a/167 in promo numbering: a champion unit at 3 energy and 3 Might in Chaos, tagged Bandle City and Yordle. The text is short: when I move, you may have another unit's base Might become 4 this turn. Art is by Dark Glow, and the flavour line is the «Transmogulate!» League players know well.
Note the wording: it sets base Might to 4, not up by 4. On a small unit that's a boost, on a big one it's a demotion — and since the choice is yours, in practice it's always a boost.
The RunesSix new promos, and not the Alt Arts
In the same gallery Riot dropped six promo Runes, one per colour: Fury, Calm, Mind, Body, Chaos and Order, numbered RAD R01b through R06b, illustrated by Jincheng Guo. They're solid symbols on coloured grounds and should not be confused with the set's six music-themed Alt Art Runes, which carry the «a» numbering and completely different art.

Summoner Skirmish 1
The first of the two official cycles begins, with a participation prize, a top cut prize and a champion card, plus the playmat.
Summoner Skirmish 2
Same structure for the second cycle, playmat to the champion again.
Why it matters to us. This is the calendar of what you actually take home from playing in Italy over the next two months, and for once it's known in advance: Heimerdinger at the Pre-Rift this week, the new Nexus Night pool right after, then the two Summoner Skirmishes in November and December. For collectors, the seven cards shared with the Showdown Decks are the ones worth chasing in promo form rather than buying.
In short
- Pre-Rift, October 16 to 22: pick up Heimerdinger, Academy Instructor while supplies last.
- Nexus Night packs switch pools: 24 Radiance cards, with Lulu, Whimsical as the chase.
- Six new promo Runes (RAD R01b-R06b) and the two Summoner Skirmishes on November 9 and December 14.
