Update, October 21: the real price is $150. Riot has announced the box as the Riftbound x K/DA: Couture Collection: it costs $150 plus shipping and is sold only through a drawing on the Riot Merch Store, with registration from Tuesday, October 27 to Friday, October 30, both at 9:00 AM PT. The $2,499.99 pre-order this article covers has nothing official about it. Every detail is in K/DA Couture Collection: $150, and a drawing that opens October 27.
The factsWhat the listing actually says
I opened the page myself tonight. The title reads [PRE-ORDER] Riftbound League Of Legends K/DA OPERA Bundle, the price is $2,499.99 and the stock line says «In stock». The description runs to two lines: «1 Bundle has 5 Alt Art Promos» and «Comes with Dice, Playmat, Keychain, Sleeves and a Deck Box». Underneath, in bold: «Pre-order item. Availability and release date may vary.» The page was last edited a few hours ago.
Two terms, in case you don’t deal with them every day. A pre-order means you pay now for something the shop does not have yet and cannot promise a date for. An alt art is a card with the same text and the same numbers as another one but a different illustration: the artwork changes, the way it plays does not.
$2,499.99
What the shop is asking right now. I read it on the product page myself, nobody relayed it to me.
$1,500 before
On r/riftboundtcg, u/shihtzuro says the starting price was $1,500 and points to a YouTube video. I have not seen that video: this is his account, not mine.
What doesn’t add upThe shop’s photos are the leak’s photos
This is the heart of it. The seven images on the listing are the same ones we covered on Tuesday night in our piece on the «Volume 001» K/DA box: the black box with the Riftbound and K/DA logos, the Ahri, Kai’Sa, Evelynn and Akali spreads, the Packed Amphitheater battlefield page. They come from a shop livestream and were reposted on Reddit. They are not photos Ultima Supply took with the product in its hands.
Three practical consequences follow. First, «In stock» cannot mean much when the same page says the release date may vary. Second, the dice, playmat, keychain, sleeves and deck box appear in none of the photos, not the leak’s and not the listing’s — they are a written promise, not something anyone has seen. Third, the name: on Tuesday the box itself read «Volume 001», and the new word, «Opera», comes from a sales listing rather than from Riot.
On the official side, nothing has moved. The Radiance overview, last updated on October 5, says the set contains K/DA-themed Special cards, but says nothing about a separate box. Riot’s card gallery, which has been filling up all week, has no K/DA entry either.

Why it matters to us. Because the next step is always the same: someone in Italy sees the number 2,500 and reads it as what the product is worth. It isn’t. It is what one shop is asking for a box the publisher has not announced, advertised with photos that are not its own. Until Riot states a price, a date and a place to buy it, any figure is the seller’s guess. If the box does reach Europe — and the K/DA cards inside the set suggest something is coming — we will hear it from the official page, not from a shopping cart.
| The shop says | The photos show |
|---|---|
| 5 alt art promos | Yes: Ahri, Akali, Evelynn, Kai’Sa and the Packed Amphitheater battlefield |
| Dice, playmat, keychain, sleeves, deck box | Nothing, in any photo |
| The name «OPERA Bundle» | The box itself reads «Volume 001» |
| $2,499.99, «In stock» | No price and no date from Riot |
The short version
- A US shop is taking pre-orders for the K/DA box at $2,499.99 and calls it the «K/DA OPERA Bundle».
- The listing uses the October 7 Reddit leak photos rather than its own: the promised dice, playmat and other extras appear nowhere.
- Riot has not announced the product: no official price, no date, no entry in the card gallery.
