The eventWhere, when and at what time
Paris Games Week is France's big video game show, held at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles (1 place de la Porte de Versailles, 75015 Paris). Riftbound takes over booth E0 from Thursday October 22 to Sunday October 25.
The «Learn to Play» demo area runs every day from 9:30 to 18:30 Paris time: a staff member walks you through a full game and explains the rules as you play. No experience needed — and this is the activity that earns you the promo.
Booth E0
Four days of Riftbound: demos, free play, the Radiance museum and product on sale.
Rift Tour final
The booth stage closes out the Rift Tour, Riftbound's official competitive circuit in France.
The promoRiven, Shattered for one game
The event giveaway is Riven, Shattered, already handed out at Gen Con 2026 and now back on the table in Paris. Riot says attendees of a «Learn to Play» session will be able to receive the card: no per-player cap is stated, so don't assume copies will still be there on Sunday evening.

It is a Noxus Champion Unit costing 3 with 3 might, tagged Weaponmaster. The printed ability reads: «When I attack, choose an enemy unit here. Deal 2 to it for each Equipment attached to me». In plain terms: when Riven attacks, you pick an enemy unit on that battlefield and deal it 2 damage for every piece of Equipment Riven is carrying. With none attached it does nothing; with two, it lands 4 damage before any combat is counted.
| Term | What it means |
|---|---|
| Might | The unit's strength: how much it weighs in holding a battlefield, and how much damage it survives. |
| Equipment | A card you attach to a unit to buff it; here, each one is worth 2 extra damage. |
| Weaponmaster | A tag, not an ability: it matters to other cards that look for Weaponmasters. |
The regular printing is Riven, Shattered from Vendetta: the giveaway is the promo variant 041a, with different art and a stamp.
At the boothPassport, Radiance museum and stage
On the way in you get a passport listing every activity: fill it in and you spin a prize wheel for stickers, pins and boosters. Next to the demo area there is a free play zone for casual games.
The highlight for anyone following the new set is the Radiance museum: Riot is displaying every card in the expansion, which releases worldwide on October 23 — mid-show. If you have only seen those cards in our spoiler grid so far, this is where you see them printed.
Around it: a mosaic wall where you add your photo to a growing collage, a graffiti wall, a photo booth, a station to print your own custom creation for the table, and a rotating lineup of cosplayers (Taryn, Kairi, Marion), with times going out on Riftbound's social channels.
The counterWhat you can buy, Secret Garden included
The booth sells sealed product: boosters are French language, and the Radiance products land on the counter right as the set launches on October 23.
| Product | Note |
|---|---|
| Unleashed and Vendetta boosters | French language |
| Vendetta Showdown Decks: Zed vs Shen | Two ready-to-play decks, head to head |
| Vendetta Vaults | |
| Radiance Vaults | Set releases October 23 |
| Radiance Showdown Decks: Evelynn vs Seraphine | Set releases October 23 |
| Secret Garden | The convention bundle |

Why it matters to us. Paris is the closest European Riftbound stop to Italy before the Stuttgart Regional Championship on November 6-8, and it falls exactly on the Radiance release: at the booth you can see every card in the set in print and buy Vaults and Showdown Decks without waiting for your local store. It matters for Secret Garden hunters too: on the calendar Riot corrected in September, the only stop left after Paris and Essen is Lucca Comics & Games. And the Riven promo only costs you one demo game — no badge, no sign-up.
