How it worksWhat a Prize Wall ticket actually is
Side events — the open tournaments running alongside the main event — do not pay cash. They pay PW Tickets, the Prize Wall currency: you earn them by winning matches and spend them at the prize wall, where every item carries a ticket price. It is a closed economy. When the weekend ends, leftover tickets are worth nothing.
| Prize | Tickets |
|---|---|
| Single booster pack (any set) | 1 |
| Exclusive double-tall Battlefield | 1 |
| Art sleeves | 3 |
| Radiance playmat | 5 |
| Regional exclusive playmat | 12 |
| Two-player Poro playmat | 15 |
| Booster box (24 packs) | 24 |
| Metal Plated Legend | 40 |
The Plated Legend is the headline item: one per attendee for the entire weekend, chosen from the full gallery of champions released so far, from Riven to Seraphine. Forty tickets is therefore the only target worth planning around before you buy your entries.
The big onesWhere the tickets really come from
Six competitive tournaments run across the weekend, all of them requiring a submitted decklist. Here is what they pay, according to the schedule published by Riftbound Organized Play. «Bo3» means best of three games, and Swiss pairings mean nobody is eliminated: each round you face someone on your own record.
| Event | When | Entry | Tickets by wins |
|---|---|---|---|
| Radiance Standard Challenge | Fri 6, 10:00 · 6 rounds | €50 | 6 wins: 40 · 5: 30 · 4: 20 |
| Radiance 2v2 Team Challenge | Fri 6, 11:00 · 6 rounds | €50 | per team — 6 wins: 80 · 5: 60 · 4: 40 |
| Nation Clash | Sat 7, 9:00 · 8 rounds | €50 | Top 8: 60 · 7 wins: 40 · 6: 30 · 5: 20 |
| Radiance Draft Challenge | Sat 7, 10:00 · 6 rounds | €75 | 6 wins: 40 · 5: 30 · 4: 20 |
| Radiance Standard Challenge | Sun 8, 9:00 · 6 rounds | €50 | 6 wins: 40 · 5: 30 · 4: 20 |
| Radiance Sealed Challenge | Sun 8, 10:00 · 5 rounds | €75 | 5 wins: 40 · 4: 25 · 3: 10 |
The maths is quick. A 6-0 in a Standard Challenge is worth exactly one Plated Legend, but in a 2,048-player field an unbeaten run is a top-table finish. The realistic route is different: two 4-2 records, Friday and Sunday, add up to 20 + 20 = 40 tickets for €100 in entries. Same outcome with five wins in a Challenge (30) plus five wins in Nation Clash (20): that makes 50, with ten to spare for a playmat.
4 wins
Below that, the Standard Challenges and the Draft Challenge hand out nothing at all.
40 tickets
One Plated Legend, one per person. You can get there by adding up two separate events.
The small tablesWhat casual players take home
Casual tournaments pay far less, but almost all of them guarantee something even when you lose. The €50 5 Pack Chaos Draft is the best of that bracket: 13 tickets for three wins. The €50 Radiance Sealed Deck starts at 2 tickets for an 0-4 and tops out at 10. Friday night’s Super Nexus Night, €25, runs from 2 to 8 tickets and hands every entrant a promo pack regardless. The €10 on-demand tables pay one ticket per win, three at most. In the four-player Free for Alls the pod winner takes 2 tickets and everyone else takes 1, so you can play for hours and never end up empty-handed.
Stacking a Chaos Draft, a Sealed Deck and a Nexus Night gets you to 31 tickets for €125: not enough for the Plated Legend, enough for a booster box plus a playmat.
The claim«Prizing got nerfed»: what checks out and what doesn’t
On October 29 redditor u/PhaTCG opened a thread on r/riftboundtcg arguing that Stuttgart’s ticket payouts have got worse over the past fortnight, posting a screenshot of notes taken back then. There are two separate claims here.
The first: according to those notes the Radiance Standard Challenge used to pay from three wins, whereas the lowest tier today is four. That part cannot be verified: the official page only ever shows the current version, the notes are a private document, and neither Riot nor UVS Games has said anything. What we can confirm is today’s snapshot, and it is the table above: below four wins, no tickets.
The second claim is about Nation Clash and checks out on its own: six wins in Nation Clash pay 30 tickets, while six wins in Friday’s Standard Challenge pay 40. The reading needs a correction, though, because the two events are not built the same way. The Standard Challenge runs six rounds, so six wins is a clean sweep; Nation Clash runs eight, so six wins is a 6-2 — a mid-table finish. Compare like for like and the numbers line up: seven wins in Nation Clash pay 40 tickets, and its Top 8 pays 60, the highest payout of the weekend.
Why it matters for us. Registration opens tomorrow at 9:00 and the most wanted tournaments only hold 1,024 players: anyone travelling from Italy has to decide tonight, not on Saturday at the venue. The ticket table changes the calculation. If the Plated Legend is the goal, book both €50 Standard Challenges, Friday and Sunday, because two 4-2 finishes are worth as much as a 6-0 you may never hit. If you are going to play for fun, the €10 on-demand tables and the Free for Alls never leave you with nothing, and they cost a fifth as much.
The short version
- Stuttgart side event registration opens Friday, October 30 at 9:00 CET on Tixr, alongside Worlds Bundle orders.
- A metal Plated Legend costs 40 Prize Wall tickets, one per attendee; a booster box costs 24 and an exclusive playmat 12.
- Both Radiance Standard Challenges and the Draft Challenge only start paying at four wins: 20 tickets, 30 for five, 40 for six.
- Nation Clash’s Top 8 is worth 60 tickets, the biggest payout of the weekend.
- A player on Reddit says the cutoff moved from three wins to four: not confirmed by Riot or UVS Games.
