Start hereWhat we are actually looking at
Two words before the numbers, because this is about choices, not wins. Your Legend is the card that heads the deck: you run exactly one, it sets the colours you are allowed to play, and in practice it tells everyone which deck you brought. Share (or meta share) is the percentage of entrants who registered that Legend — it does not say who won, it says what people decided to sleeve up. The Showdown Series is the open-entry tournament circuit of organised play, the one you sign up for without qualifying: Bristol and Malmö last week, Murcia this weekend.
A quick sanity check before trusting any of it: 54 players out of 756 is 7.14%, 52 is 6.88%, 40 is 5.29%, 38 is 5.03%. Every share in the screenshot lines up with a field of roughly 756 entrants, so the stated total and the individual counts agree with each other.
| Legend | Players | Share |
|---|---|---|
| Irelia, Blade Dancer | 54 | 7.1% |
| LeBlanc, Deceiver | 52 | 6.8% |
| Jayce, Defender of Tomorrow | 40 | 5.2% |
| Kennen, Heart of the Tempest | 40 | 5.2% |
| Akali, Rogue Assassin | 38 | 5.0% |
| Rengar, Pridestalker | 37 | 4.8% |
| Rek’Sai, Void Burrower | n/a | 3.8% |

The readSeven Legends inside three and a half points
The interesting part is not who leads, it is how little leading there is. Barely three percentage points separate first from seventh, and less than half a point separates third from sixth: Jayce and Kennen tied on forty entries, Akali on thirty-eight, Rengar on thirty-seven. Put another way, with 756 players in the room the single most popular deck of the tournament was brought by a little more than one entrant in fourteen. There is no deck to beat here, only a long list of decks that are fine.
Compared with seven days ago, though, something is moving. At Bristol, in a field of around five hundred, Rengar led at 5.0% and Irelia sat at 4.2%; in Murcia Irelia climbs to 7.1% and Rengar slides to sixth. It is the same drift seen at the Los Angeles Regional Qualifier, where Irelia was among the best-converting Legends and the Top 8 ended up with no Kennen at all. In Murcia, Kennen is still comfortably placed at 5.2%: Europe’s open fields keep trusting a card that failed to hold up at the decisive cut in the United States.
756 entries
Roughly one and a half times the Bristol field, and the biggest European Showdown turnout of this stretch.
3.3 points
The gap from first Legend to seventh. A format with no dominant deck.
The same report also name-checks two familiar faces: according to u/nic_bolas, Mice’s Squirtle registered Akali and Mice’s Themanland registered Rengar. These come from the same post rather than an official entry list, so until full standings are published, treat them as a pointer, not a result.
Why this matters for us. Murcia is Europe: the same format and the same legal card pool Italian players meet at their own events, which makes 756 registered lists the widest sample we currently have for what to expect at the next local tournament. The practical read is simple: if you are building for the coming weeks, prepare for Irelia and LeBlanc, but do not cut the answers to Jayce, Kennen and Akali, because together they weigh more than the top two combined. And if you play something off the radar, this is a good moment for it — nobody is preparing for you.
CaveatWhat we still do not know
The numbers that actually measure deck strength are missing: win rates, Day 2 conversion and the Top 8 breakdown. So far all that has surfaced is the registration snapshot, and a high share can mean a Legend is strong just as easily as it can mean the deck is cheap or simple to pilot. We will update the picture once standings and the decklists from the final cut are out.
In short
- 756 players at the Murcia Showdown Series: the largest European field in recent weeks.
- Irelia, Blade Dancer is the most registered Legend at 7.1% (54 entries), ahead of LeBlanc at 6.8% (52).
- Just over three points separate the first Legend from the seventh: nothing dominates.
- Unofficial data from a screenshot shared on Reddit; win rates and Top 8 are still missing.
