Radiance playmats: four official mats land on October 23

Radiance Ziggs playmat with its packaging

NewsMarketby Riccardo Emanuele Eustor · Riftbound Zone

Radiance hits shelves tomorrow, and it brings four official playmats and four matching sleeve packs with it. One champion per mat: Ekko, Ziggs, Seraphine and Mordekaiser. The listings come from Asmodee, the game's distributor, which has all eight accessories on its catalogue dated October 23, 2026; the product shots surfaced on X on Tuesday night. Two of the four use Overnumber artwork we already saw during preview season.

The productFour mats, one champion each

Asmodee — the company that puts Riftbound on European shelves — has opened pages for eight new accessories, all carrying the same street date as the set itself. Four are playmats, numbered Playmat #1 through Playmat #4; four are packs of illustrated card sleeves, numbered the same way. The product photography tells you who is on which number: #1 is Ekko, #2 is Ziggs, #3 is Seraphine, #4 is Mordekaiser. The sleeve packs reuse the same four pieces of art, in the same order.

The packaging also spells out the format: 24 x 14 inches, or 60 x 35 centimetres, the standard playmat size, plus the words bound edge — the stitched border that stops the fabric fraying with use. It is licensed Riot Games artwork manufactured by UVS Games, and the box is printed in English and French: this is the European run.

The artworkTwo we know, two we don't

The photos were first posted by Riftbound Report, a community news account, at 8:01 p.m. UTC on Tuesday, October 21, with the claim that all four mats use Overnumber artwork. We checked them against our spoiler grid, and for two of the four that checks out exactly.

Games Time Pavia — official sponsor

The Ekko mat is Ekko, Boy Who Shattered Time in its Overnumber printing (RAD 168/167), the green full-art version. The Mordekaiser mat is Iron Revenant Overnumber (RAD 170/167), the red desert with the golden figure in the foreground. The other two are pieces our grid does not have: the Ziggs mat is a neon take on his grin, different from the art on his Legend card, and the Seraphine singing into a microphone against a blue backdrop matches neither the Starry-Eyed Songstress Legend nor the Chinese Overnumber. Whether those are Overnumbers that have not been shown yet, or art commissioned for the accessories, is not something anyone can say right now: Riot has published nothing.

The wordsThree terms, briefly

Term → what it means
PlaymatThe mat you play on: it keeps cards from sliding and marks out the zones of the table.
OvernumberCards numbered past the set total (here, beyond 167): borderless, full-art versions of the champion cards.
Bound edgeThe stitched border around the mat. Costs a little more, keeps the sides from fraying.

The priceNobody has published one yet

Neither Riot nor Asmodee has put out a suggested retail price. The first international shops taking pre-orders are sitting around $35 per mat, but there is still no euro price: it will be whatever your shop puts on the shelf. Worth repeating that these are accessories, not sealed product — no booster packs, no promo cards inside.

Why it matters for us. These four mats land on the same day Radiance reaches Italian shops, through the same distributor as the set: anyone picking up a box tomorrow may well find them on the same shelf, with no need to import from the United States. For tournament players it is the cheapest way to get the full-art Ekko or Mordekaiser illustration onto the table without chasing Overnumbers through booster packs, where they turn up rarely.

In short

  • Four official Radiance playmats on the Asmodee catalogue, in stores from October 23, 2026: Ekko (#1), Ziggs (#2), Seraphine (#3), Mordekaiser (#4).
  • 60 x 35 cm with a stitched edge; four sleeve packs with the same artwork ship the same day.
  • Ekko and Mordekaiser reuse Overnumbers RAD 168/167 and RAD 170/167; the Ziggs and Seraphine pieces match no card shown so far.
  • No official euro price: international listings start around $35.
