RC Stuttgart Creator badge: applications close September 13
Riot has opened applications for the Creator badges of the first European Regional Championship of Riftbound, taking place in Stuttgart from November 6 to 8. The official form must be submitted by September 13, and selected creators will hear back in the days that follow. One detail changes what the application actually means: the badge does not include entry to the main tournament, and travel and accommodation are on you.
The badgeWhat it gives you, and what it doesn't
The form is bluntly titled RC Stuttgart – Creator Badge Application form and sets expectations right away: filling it in is an expression of interest and guarantees nothing. Riot will only contact the selected profiles after the deadline to hand over the pass. You also need to be 18 or older, an explicit requirement for taking part in the creator-only activities.
The most important point is what the badge leaves out. The form states that «this badge does not include a ticket to the main event»: with the creator pass you can walk the event floor, cover what happens, follow the tournament and join the activations built for content creators, but you don't sit at the Regional Championship tables. For that you need an invite earned on the field, meaning a top 64 finish at a Regional Qualifier.
The distinction isn't new: in its creator activations document, Riot separates the Creator Competitor badge, which combines access and a tournament seat, from the plain Creator badge, meant for those who «want to share the experience with those at home». Judging by the form, Stuttgart falls into the second category.
The formSeven questions, no surprises
The application is short and takes a few minutes. Beyond confirming you are of age, Riot asks for the name you create content under, a contact email and your region, with EMEA at the top of the list: that's the box for European creators. Then come the link to your main social profile, a description of the content you would like to make on site and, above all, a link to a piece of Riftbound work you are proud of.
That last question is the one that really counts: follower numbers don't matter, having something concrete to show does. The form closes with a formal acknowledgement that travel and lodging expenses are not covered, plus an optional box to flag accessibility needs on site.
November 6-8, Messe Stuttgart
The event takes over Hall H of the Stuttgart trade fair grounds, at Messepiazza 1. Alongside the main tournament there will be side events, on-demand tournaments, a prize wall, the merchandise shop and an area to follow the broadcast.
Standard, with Radiance in
The format is Standard, and the cards from Radiance, the fifth set releasing on October 23, will be legal. Exactly two weeks separate the set's release from the first Swiss round.
Why it matters to us. It is the first European Regional Championship of Riftbound, and Stuttgart is one of the most affordable trips on the competitive calendar for anyone leaving from Italy. Those who have been covering the Italian scene these past months — the Regional Qualifiers, the store tournaments, the Showdown Series — get the chance to do it from inside a top-tier event, and to bring an Italian point of view where usually only English-speaking voices reach. The window, though, is tiny: two days.
The eventThree days on the road to Worlds
The schedule published by Riot has six rounds of Swiss on Friday, with Day 2 access for anyone collecting at least 12 match points, six more rounds on Saturday to set the Top 8, and Sunday for quarterfinals, semifinals and the final. At stake are $50,000 and, above all, eight invites to the first Riftbound World Championship.

Worth remembering: Regional Championship invites are not tied to your home region. Qualified players can choose to use them in Stuttgart or at the North American Regional Championship at Convergence Fest, December 11-13 in Las Vegas. Anyone who collected more than one invite across different Regional Qualifiers can attend both.
