The dataWhat Saturday's table says
Saturday at the $25,000 Showdown Series in Sacramento, California, ran seven rounds of Swiss. Stats site zero.gg, which reads the tournament's official pairings, logged roughly 2,100 games.
The number that matters is the share of games won: fifty per cent means a deck wins as often as it loses, below fifty it is losing. Here are the new set's nine Legends, best to worst.
| Legend | Games won | Games played |
|---|---|---|
| Riven, The Exile | 63% | 491 |
| Mordekaiser, Iron Revenant | 48% | 148 |
| Ekko, Boy Who Shattered Time | 48% | 125 |
| Evelynn, Agony's Embrace | 46% | 194 |
| Jarvan IV, Exemplar of Demacia | 44% | 103 |
| Orianna, Lady of Clockwork | 42% | 169 |
| Ziggs, Hexplosives Expert | 40% | 81 |
| Seraphine, Starry-Eyed Songstress | 37% | 138 |
| K'Sante, Pride of Nazumah | 28% | 78 |
The exceptionRiven is both the most played and the most winning
Those two things usually pull against each other: when half the room brings a deck, the weaker players come with it and the average sags. Not in Sacramento. Riven, The Exile was already the most chosen Legend of the event, and after 491 games she is also the one winning most, level with Kennen.
Her card text is a single line: units you play to battlefields you control enter ready. In plain terms, a unit you have just put down normally has to wait until your next turn to do anything; with Riven it acts immediately. That means answering what your opponent does while they are doing it, instead of absorbing the hit and clawing back later.
Riven, 63%
491 games, the largest sample at the event. No other Radiance Legend comes close.
K'Sante, 28%
78 games. The lowest figure of any Legend with at least fifty games played.

The veteransThe floor still belongs to the older sets
Nobody is above Riven; the names beside her were all around before October 23. Kennen, Heart of the Tempest (Vendetta) is on 63% across 300 games, Kai'Sa, Daughter of the Void (Origins) on 59% across 205, Rengar, Pridestalker (Unleashed) on 59% across 185. Behind them but still positive: LeBlanc at 56% and Diana at 54% — the same Diana that won the Melbourne Showdown a few hours ago.
The read is simple: one week after release, the players who already knew their deck beat the players still learning theirs.
| Term | What it means |
|---|---|
| Legend | The card that stays on the table from start to finish and sets which colours the deck can play. Saying «a Riven» means a deck. |
| Swiss | A format where nobody is knocked out: each round you face someone on your own score. |
| Enter ready | A unit you have just played can act straight away, instead of waiting for your next turn. |
| Battlefield | The zones the two players fight over: holding them is the main way to score. |
CarefulHow to read these numbers
Three warnings. This is Saturday only: Sunday is being played as you read, and the Top 8 will move the picture. These are not official Riot figures, but a community site crunching the event's pairings. And small samples lie: Ziggs has 81 games and K'Sante 78, where ten bad matches swing the percentage by several points.
Without overreaching: the new set has not found its shape yet, and seven days of practice is thin for everyone.
Why it matters for us. The European Regional Championship in Stuttgart, November 6-8, is the biggest tournament of the autumn for players in Italy, and it is played with Radiance legal. Anyone building a deck now has two roads: trust Riven, the one new card that held up in Sacramento, or stay on Kennen and Kai'Sa, which keep winning without drama. And the decklist is handed in at the door.
In short
- Of Radiance's nine Legends only Riven, The Exile is above 50%: 63% across 491 games.
- K'Sante props up the table at 28%; Seraphine 37%, Ziggs 40%, Orianna 42%.
- Legends from the older sets are holding: Kennen 63%, Kai'Sa 59%, Rengar 59%.
- Saturday-only data from an unofficial source: Sunday can change it.
